TRiO programs are an educational opportunity program that supports first-generation, low-income students. It is a U.S. Department of Education grant-funded program that serves 200 eligible students at Pacific each year.
SUCCESS TRiO is a US Department of Education grant-funded program serving first-generation, underrepresented students. Services for SUCCESS-TRiO students include: include tutoring, direct financial assistance, academic, financial, personal and career counseling. The mission is to provide holistic and effective retention services to eligible students by empowering them in their academic, personal and social development.
Upward Bound TRiO is a US Department of Education Program partners with Pacific students to provide tutoring, college exploration, and a six-week summer program for local Edison High School students. Applicants must be enrolled at Edison High School, be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, and either is a first-generation college student or has low-income family status. While all services offered are at no cost to the participant, the family and student's full commitment is required and must meet the eligibility requirements.
